Compatibility:
· 12/16 mm → fits connectors with outer diameter of 12–14 mm
· 16/22 mm → fits connectors with outer diameter of 16–18 mm
Important Note:
If the connector outer diameter is very close to the hose inner diameter and the fit feels slightly loose, please use a tightening clamp to prevent detachment.
Size Selection Guide:
The number before the slash (“/”) is the inner diameter of the hose. The number after is the outer diameter.Example 1:
If your filter, inlet/outlet pipe, or pump connector is marked “12 mm” by the manufacturer, choose the 12/16 mm hose.
Example 2:
If the connector is marked “16 mm”, choose the 16/22 mm hose.These size codes are standard in the aquarium industry. Minor tolerances in actual inner/outer diameter may exist between different brands or factories, but because silicone hose is elastic, it is generally compatible as long as the same size code is used.
